U-vola™'s elegante structuur brengt een grote revolutie in de wereld van

DESIGN
U-VOLA™ is a unique and new generation ellipsoid-shaped loudspeaker
system, featuring a single piece, tough cabinet, made of a special
mix of mineral aggregates, called KCF¨. Intensive studies and
continuos experimentations on materials, have allowed us to define
such an innovative solution.
| The unusual rigidity of U-VOLA™ enclosure, combined with its internal and external edgefree design, minimises all the interactions suffered by conventional loudspeakers, like internal resonances, vibrations and wall-to speaker interferences. Furthermore, the suspended technology owned by U-vola™ is a truly effective method to cancel any contact vibration and can be obtained through a steel wire hanged at the ceiling or using our special U-vola™ stands now available for floor or table solutions. |  |

GENESIS OF AN IDEA
What summarises better U-vola™ speakers is the sum of three important concepts: suspension, shape and its one-mass cabinet. Concerning the last two peculiarities – shape and cabinet – a big aid has come from the Copetti's experience matured in the building and design field where the study of the materials is always put in foreground.Our necessity to obtain an ellipsoid shaped cabinet by using an inert material not negatively effecting the sound frequencies and suitable for the construction, made us immediately think about cement, so the first prototypes have been built for us by a local cement company, Forgiarini Ermes and Claudio, which has been working passionately together to find the best solutions.
| Na drie jaren van studie en testen, we put into practice a composite material,
which complied better with the severe acoustic laws. This material is composed
by a special mixture of different sizes of natural mineral aggregates, called
KCF®, as basalt, Dia-bas, silicium, korundum and spheroidal quartz. The material and the way to build the cabinet are patented world wide. |
